The Galiakotwala Group made its entry into the cotton trading business in 1945. Since then, cotton trading has been one of the mainstays of the group's activities.

This division has offices at all major procurement and sales centres in the country. Additionally, it has a network of associates and agents throughout the world and is actively involved in imports and exports of cotton. The company has evolved from a strong domestic player into a reputed player in the international arena. With proven performance and capabilities in both the imports & exports segments, they are now on the threshold to becoming a complete international trading house for cotton.

This company was established in 1943 and is involved in the manufacturing and marketing of protective and decorative paints, anticorrosive primers, synthetic enamels & plastic paints. The two manufacturing plants of the division are located at Mumbai and Ankleshwar, an industrial town in Gujarat.

The company has entered into a technical tie up and exclusive representation in India for Resene of New Zealand. Their high performance coatings are widely used in refineries, fertilizer, petrochemical, pesticide, marine & chemical industries, and in flyovers & bridges etc

The company also has collaboration with Intelchem of Malaysia for trading of wood coatings which are used in the furniture & hotel industry as well as badminton & squash court floorings. Our clients include the leading hotel chains in the country.

In addition , this division manufactures industrial coatings based on indigenous technology used by OEM's and Government undertakings such as the Railways, Navy, Defence Organizations, State Transport Corporation etc.

Our packaging division was established in 1972 and is involved in manufacturing of metal containers such as drums and barrels used in lube oil, chemical and food processing industries. This division started with a 50-50 collaboration with T&D PLC of the UK but now is fully owned by the promoters of Galiakotwala Group. We have a state-of-art manufacturing unit at Silvassa (Union Territory north of Mumbai) and our client base includes many multinational as well as public sector undertakings...

This division manufactures pollution control equipments for chemical plants and heat exchangers. Its clients include sulphuric acid plants, caustic chlorine plants, steam production plants etc. It is considered today as the leading manufacturer of mist eliminators in the country. This division is also involved in supply of various equipments made of the highly corrosion resistant alloy SX steel on an exclusive basis in the country. Its manufacturing base which is ISO 9000 certified is based at Ankleshwar (Gujarat).

This division is involved in the development of residential housing projects in suburban Mumbai. We have to our credit several completed projects till date.

This division is the latest addition to the group activities and has become a member of the National Stock Exchange. The long - term plan for this division is to be able to offer an array of financial products and services.

This division markets textile machinery and accessories to the textile industry. The division also represents reputed companies by marketing a wide range of hardware products and mill gin stores all over the country.
